Can I pay for my QCon AI Boston ticket by invoice?
You are able to pay by invoice online by checking the "Do You Want to Pay Later by Invoice?" checkbox during registration. Payment by invoice online will be available until June 11th, 2027 (subject to change without notice).
The amount of your invoice reflects the published ticket price in effect at the time that your payment of the invoice is due, which is 30 days* from when you submit the order and receive your invoice. You can review our list of early bird discounts (i.e. early payment discounts) and dates of pricing changes on this pricing table. Pricing is based on the date of receipt of payment. If you pay by credit card instead, you will receive the same day's price and you will be emailed a full receipt, marked paid.
After June 11th, 2027, you can email us at payments@boston.qcon.ai to request payment by invoice. Due to the proximity of the start date of the event, we encourage you to instead make a payment by credit card. All credit card payments will automatically generate a receipt, marked paid, that is emailed to the buyer for your accounting records. If you still require an invoice to pay by wire, please email us and will evaluate your request to confirm that your payment by wire will be received by us no later than June 18th, 2027. Please note that this will be less than 30 days to send payment.
Only participants who have paid for the event in full before the event start date, will be admitted to the conference.
*except where an invoice is issued between May 19th, 2027, and June 11th, 2027, in which case payment is due no later than June 18th, 2027.
Who can I contact for questions relating to payment?

What will I take back from QCon AI Boston?
You will leave with production examples from other engineering teams: how they approached comparable decisions, which constraints shaped their choices, what changed after launch, and where they would take a different direction next time.
Those examples give you more reference points for the decisions in your own systems.
Why attend in person?
You can ask speakers why they chose one approach over another, hear different solutions to comparable constraints, and continue the technical discussion with engineers from other companies.
When will speakers be announced?
The 2027 program is currently being developed.
About QCon
What is QCon AI?
QCon AI is a two-day in-person software development conference for senior software engineers, architects, and team leaders.
The conference provides senior software developers with actionable insights and practical advice on critical software development challenges.
The conference features practitioner-curated topics and technical talks from 27+ senior software practitioners on today's dev priorities.
Who is QCon AI for?
QCon AI is designed for senior software engineers, software architects, and team leaders.
Why is the QCon AI conference for practitioners by practitioners?
At QCon AI, we prefer engineers over evangelists, practitioners over trainers/coaches, and team leads over consultants. That is not to say we don't find value in the people on the right; we just prefer those on the left. This simple mantra guides our editorial content. We want to hear from the people who are making decisions and implementations in their fields.
What do you mean by "no hidden marketing"?
Who is behind QCon AI?
QCon AI is produced by C4Media, the team behind QCon and InfoQ.
What is QCon AI Boston 2027?
QCon AI Boston is a two-day production AI conference for senior software engineers, architects, Staff+ engineers, ML/MLOps engineers, platform and security engineers, and engineering leaders.
It takes place July 8–9, 2027 at Boston University, George Sherman Union in Boston, MA.
What will the 2027 program cover?
The program is currently being developed around agent runtime design, context engineering, evals and observability, MCP and tool access, zero-trust agent security, and inference cost and latency.
Speakers and sessions will be added as they are confirmed.
Is QCon AI Boston an introductory AI conference?
The program focuses on engineering decisions around running AI in production, including architecture, reliability, security, evaluation, infrastructure, and cost.
How is QCon AI different from other AI conferences?
QCon AI is built around first-hand production experience.
Speakers are hand-picked because they have worked on the systems and decisions they discuss. Different practitioners may reach different conclusions, giving attendees several approaches to consider rather than one prescribed answer.
Sponsored sessions are identified separately from the editorial program.
Misc
Is there a call for papers?
We do not have a formal CFP and usually directly invite our speakers, however, we do have a submission form for spontaneous submissions.
How is the QCon AI program built?
QCon hand-picks speakers for the first-hand production experience they bring to the engineering questions in the program.
Attendees hear the alternatives considered, the trade-offs behind a decision, what happened in production, and what the practitioner would approach differently now.
